NW Commerce Group Privacy Policy

About this policy

NW Commerce Group, LLC (“NWCG,” “we,” “us”) is an Amazon channel management and retail media agency based in Bellevue, Washington. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

It covers our website, our client services, and the software applications we operate for clients, including applications that connect to Amazon through the Amazon Ads API, the Selling Partner API (SP-API), and Login with Amazon.

Effective date: October 2, 2026

Information we collect

Information you give us. Name, company, email, phone, revenue band, and notes you submit through forms, onboarding, or messages. Account login details for our client applications. Billing details are collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

Information from Amazon, with your authorization. When you authorize our application through Login with Amazon, we receive access tokens that let us retrieve data from the Amazon accounts you approve. Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include:

  • Amazon Ads data: profiles, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, targets, budgets, bids, and performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, sales)
  • Seller and catalog data: product listings, ASINs/SKUs, titles, images, pricing, inventory levels, listing status and suppressions
  • Business report data: aggregate sales, traffic, and conversion metrics
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud outputs, if enabled: aggregated, anonymized audience and performance insights

We do not request access to Amazon customers’ personally identifiable information (such as buyer names, addresses, or phone numbers), and our application is not designed to collect it.

Public product data. We may retrieve publicly available Amazon product page information (such as titles, bullets, and images) for listing analysis.

Usage information. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and essential cookies used to keep you signed in.

How we use information

We use Amazon data only to provide the services you engaged us for, on the accounts you authorized. That includes:

  • Managing and optimizing your advertising campaigns, bids, budgets, and targeting
  • Monitoring your account and listings and alerting you to issues such as suppressions, inventory risk, or performance changes
  • Producing reports, scorecards, audits, and recommendations for your brand
  • Creating and improving listing content and advertising strategy for your products

We use your contact and account information to communicate with you, deliver support, bill for services, and operate and secure our applications.

We do not use one client’s Amazon data to benefit another client, and we do not use Amazon data for any purpose Amazon’s policies prohibit. We may use aggregated, de-identified figures (such as percentage improvements) in our marketing, never in a way that identifies you without your permission.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we never sell or disclose Amazon data to third parties for their own use.

We share information only with service providers that help us deliver our services, under confidentiality and security obligations, and only as needed for that work:

  • Cloud hosting and database providers that store and run our applications
  • Advertising management and analytics software we use to manage campaigns on your behalf
  • Product data providers that supply public Amazon listing information
  • Payment processors for billing
  • AI service providers used to analyze data and draft content, under terms that do not permit them to train on your data
  • Workspace and communication tools our team uses to deliver your account

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the security of our systems, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Security, retention, and deletion

We protect your information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Access controls that limit Amazon data to authorized NWCG staff who need it to serve your account, with role-based permissions in our applications
  • Secure storage of access and refresh tokens, which are never shared outside our systems
  • Regular review of access and prompt revocation when staff no longer need it

If we discover a security incident affecting Amazon data, we notify Amazon and affected clients promptly, consistent with Amazon’s requirements.

We keep Amazon data only as long as needed to provide our services. When you end your engagement or revoke our access, we stop retrieving new data and delete the Amazon data we hold within 30 days, except where we must retain records by law. Reports and deliverables we already provided to you remain yours.

Your choices and contact

Revoking access. You can revoke our access to your Amazon data at any time, either in your Amazon account settings (Seller Central: Manage Your Apps; Amazon Ads: account access settings) or by emailing us. Revoking access stops all future data retrieval.

Your rights. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you. We respond within 30 days. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes. If we materially change this policy, we will update the effective date and notify active clients by email.
